Day 1: Mombasa/Diani/Airport – Tsavo East National Park
Pick up at your stay, Mombasa/Diani beach Resort/airport and drive towards Tsavo East National Park. Enjoy game drive en route towards the camp/lodge arriving on time for lunch. Experience enchantment with interesting array of sightings awaiting you ahead. First, you enjoy the sight of dust-red elephants wallowing, rolling, and even spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of the palm-shaded Galana River. Then an adventure like no other with the views of the 300-kilometre long Yatta Plateau, making it the most extended lava flow globally.
Have an amazing game drive enroute towards the camp/lodge, where you will a chance to see the big five, including vast herds of dust–red elephants, Rhino, buffalo, lion, and leopard. Also, there are pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, and lesser Kudu, among other terrestrial aquatic wildlife. Be sure to spot the prolific birdlife that features more than 500 recorded species. Our experienced guide will lead you arrive on time for check-in and lunch. Next follows a short siesta, then later in the afternoon proceed for a game drive until sunset and return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Taita Hills Sanctuary (FB)
Breakfast to start the day, then drive towards privately owned Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, adjacent to Tsavo West National Park and the LUMO Community Wildlife Sanctuary, enjoying game drives enroute to arrive for check in and lunch. Here, you will enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the surrounding clusters of hills.
Take notice of the mosaic habitat where the plant physiognomy is riverine forest, savanna wood and grassland. Have an opportunity to see a host of animals like the big five, including cape buffalo and other animals such as the Masai giraffe, hyena, and other smaller animals.
Also, get to see a diversity of birdlife. After arrival and check in, have a short siesta after lunch, and later in the afternoon head out to enjoy another game drive until sunset. Proceed back to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Taita Hills Sanctuary – Mombasa/Diani/Airport
Start with a breakfast, then proceed for a morning game drive. Return back to the camp/lodge and check out with another game drive enroute your drop off at your beach hotel/resort or airport.
