Samburu Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Prepare for a crafted safari/holiday that will delight your experience from what this little desert of Samburu has to offer. A home of unique wildlife like the Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx, Somali Ostrich, and other animals like the Reticulated Giraffe, Elephants, Lions, and Cheetahs. Spot birdlife like the Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Bateleur, Palm-nut Vulture and long-necked gerenuk. The splendid Mount Ol Olokwe spills of stunning colors will ensure an enchanted experience. Pick up from your hotel/stay or airport then Drive towards Northern Kenya.
Take notice of the sisal and pineapple plantations to the Northern Frontier District and then finally there you are, Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy game view enroute to the camp. Arrive at your booked camp on time for lunch and have a short siesta. Head out for afternoon game drive that promises exciting spotting because of its exclusive game viewing, until sunset. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve (Full day)
Enjoy a full day of game viewing drives. Not the animals only, Spot the striking background view of the Mathew’s Range in this dry semi-arid park. Also, see the scenery of the gently flowing Ewaso Nyiro river which traverses this Park and hence, has resulted to evergreen vegetation for the rare gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe found in this park. At sunset, drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve – Nairobi
Enjoy the last day breakfast. Then check out of the camp/lodge and enjoy a game drive enroute back to Nairobi. Later be dropped off at your respective hotel/stay or airport.
